I have had the pleasure of working withBarefoot Marine over the past year. I was having trouble with my older model Evinrude outboard that no mechanic was cared to nor was able to diagnose orfix. JohnBoy heard my plight, and travelled 1 ½ hours North to Fernandina Beach to work on my boat. He diagnosed,River tested (and found something else), and has had the boat running like atop. It is truly a pleasure to work with a professional that really knows whatthey are doing, and most importantly, really cares about his customers.

I had John install an air-condition unit in my Hunter Vision The unit was 16,000 BTU and I wanted it placed under my chart table. This was a tight fit which required elevating the unit by building a shelf to support the unit In addition once installed cabinetry work had to be done to enclose the unit
John installed the AC unit , the pump ,all water lines and the wiring plus constructed the necessary cabinet work
All was done in a manner that was most professional and as an extra bonus I was delighted with the cabinet work
About six months later I had to take the unit out due to a failure on the unit, john helped me on the weekend to remove and reinstall a replacement unit I have since hired him for standard maintained
I highly recommend his abilities and caring approach to the job at hand He is always on time and works constantly until the job is done

The service and caring John provides for you and your boat are is very user friendly. The idea of a mobile marine service may not be totally new, but a great option when considering the alternative of towing, dropping off and waiting. Having the folks at Barefoot Marine come to service your boat engine is so much easier You will find building a genuine rapport with John to be effortless and casual. Although I do perform most of the routine maintenance Oil, filters, Plugs excreta, I have come to appreciate his implicitly honest approach to engine maintenance or repairs when it gets over my head. John has performed several maintenance items in a timely and efficient manner, but also takes time to explain the work performed and patently answers obliquities lithely of other questions boaters tend to ask. He has rearranged his schedule to get me back on the water for a weekend event, and will take your call to answer questions or brain storm as issue and even call you back to see if your problem was resolved. (Which it was) I feel that good business is fundamentally about building ethical relationships with people whom you can share a confidence of trust with when help is needed. I highly recommend the folks at Barefoot Marine where and when it comes to Marine Service.
John does outstanding work and really knows what he is doing. He has helped keep my late model Yamaha 25 four stroke outboard going for years. He has changed my impeller, oil, lower oil, and helped me with figuring our a bad electrical connection that was just from corrosion. He works fast, and doesn't leave a mess. For his experience and knowledge and for what he charges he is doing you a favor if likes you and you are easy to work with. He is one salty dude that knows what it means to be on the water.
